I have not known you

For long

But I remember you

From back then,

Before I was born

I knew you then

Unlike I know you now

You’re like half a moon

In a hungry sky,

Different somehow

Or perhaps we were children then

And we’re just older now

Either way

I really must say,

I cannot wait to know you again

I think you will know me too

We’ll be younger then

And older too
